The Department of Environmental Sciences, at the Rahya-Suchani (Bagla) campus in Samba, has advertised one Junior or Senior Research Fellow post (reference CUJ/EVS/ICECRUNCH/2026/Adv02) on an Indo-Swiss project, with ETH Zurich as partner, studying ice-nucleating particles and cloud condensation nuclei in the north-western Himalayas. The project is funded by the Ministry of Earth Sciences.
- JRF: M.Sc. in Environmental or Atmospheric Sciences with at least 55%, plus NET or GATE; ₹37,000 a month plus 8% HRA.
- SRF: the same, plus at least two years of research experience; ₹42,000 a month plus 8% HRA.
