Two notifications, both dated 11 September, both with a deadline inside the next five days. If either applies to you, this is the whole of what you need.
Monday: 16 LLM seats at Jammu University, walk in
The Department of Law, University of Jammu, is holding an Offline Special On-spot Round of Counselling for LLM admission on 14 September 2026 — that is Monday. No online form, no fresh entrance test. You turn up.
The schedule, as the notice sets it out:
10:00 AM to 12:30 PM — reporting and filling of the counselling form
2:00 PM to 4:00 PM — verification of documents and deposit of the prescribed fee
The 16 vacant seats, category by category: Open 1 · ST-I 1 · ST-II 2 · ALC/IB 1 · OBC 1 · Cultural 1 · PWD 1 · KM 1 · WPEU 1 · Leh/Kargil 1 · Orphan Child 2 · PM CARES 2 · Transgender 1.
Worth reading that list properly rather than skimming it. Half these seats sit in categories that often go unfilled — two under Orphan Child, two under PM CARES, one under Transgender, one each for Leh/Kargil and Cultural. If you hold a certificate for any of them, the competition on Monday is thinner than the headline number suggests.
The notice (No. LAW/JU/26/2428, dated 11.09.2026, signed by the Head of the Department of Law) does not name a room — it says only that the round is on-spot. The Department of Law is on the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Road campus; ring the university helpdesk before you travel if you want the exact venue, and carry every original you have, because verification happens the same afternoon.
Thursday: Cluster University's one-time reprieve for Semester-3
Cluster University of Jammu has given eligible in-house Semester-III (FYUGP) students who missed the admission or readmission schedule a second chance to complete it.
The deadline is 17 September 2026, a Thursday, subject to meeting the prescribed eligibility conditions and paying the requisite fee. The notification (No. CLUJ/Acd./2026/2044-50, dated 11.09.2026, from the Office of the Dean Academic Affairs) has gone to the Principals of all Constituent Colleges — which means you act through your own college office, not the university.
The university has been unambiguous about what this is. In its own words, the relaxation "shall be treated as a one-time relaxation and shall not be considered a precedent for future extension of the admission schedule." If you are a second-year student at a CLUJ constituent college who let the window pass — for money, for documents, for illness — Thursday is the end of it.
