Update: The B.P.Ed Fitness Test Is on Monday, and Jammu University’s Private-College Admissions Close on the 25th

Jammu University's non-government college admissions for 2026-27 reopened this month with a late-fee window, and a form that had climbed to ₹970. That window closed at 4 pm today. What is left is a four-date run to the end of the month, and missing any one of them forfeits the seat.

The story so far

The College Development Council reopened offline applications for FYUGP (4 years), B.P.E.S (4 years) and B.P.Ed (2 years) at Jammu University's non-government colleges on 5 September, under notice No. CDC/2026/2308-12 dated 3 September 2026. Applying in this round meant the base fee of ₹550 plus a ₹420 late fee — ₹970 in total.

What's new: the four dates that remain

• 21 and 22 September — the AAPHER physical fitness test for B.P.Ed (2 years) applicants, at the Department of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.

• 24 September, 12:00 noon — the final list of admitted candidates is uploaded.

• 25 September, up to 4:00 pm — complete the admission process at your college.

• 29 September, up to 4:00 pm — colleges submit the final admitted list, their approved admission committee and admitted candidates' demand drafts to the CDC office.

That last date is the college's obligation rather than yours, but it is the reason there is no slack after 25 September: the college cannot file what it has not completed.

If you are a B.P.Ed applicant, Monday is the day

The AAPHER test is the immediate one. It runs on 21 and 22 September at the Department of Sports and Physical Education on the Jammu University campus. The notice does not publish the test components or a reporting time — so confirm both with the department rather than assuming a start time, and go on the first day if you can, which leaves the second as margin.

What to get straight before the 25th

The final list lands at noon on 24 September and admissions must be completed by 4 pm the next day. That is roughly twenty-eight working hours to reach the college, produce documents and pay. Have the demand draft, original certificates and photographs ready before the list appears, not after.

The notice directs applicants to the university website for eligibility and further updates, and the CDC has used it to post changes mid-round before. Check it rather than relying on word of mouth from a college office.
