If you are shortlisted for the Jammu-division physical tests under the JKSSB Forest Department recruitment cycle, the dates to plan around are now clear: the Physical Standard Test (PST) is on September 11, 2026 at the JKSSB Central Office, Muthi, Akhnoor Road, Jammu. Candidates who qualify the PST move to the Physical Endurance Test (PET) on September 12 and 13 at Domana New Bypass Road, Jammu.
What the notice says
The schedule covers shortlisted candidates for Inspector (FPF), Wildlife Guard, FPF Guard, Field Assistant and Social Forestry Worker posts under the Forest, Ecology and Environment Department.
Report according to the date, time and venue printed on your admit card. For the PET, the reporting window is 5:30 AM to 7:00 AM; entry after 7:00 AM will not be permitted.
JKSSB says shuttle buses will run from the designated start point on the Akhnoor–Samba Ring Road to the Jammu PET site. The last shuttle is scheduled to leave before 6:15 AM.
Light food may be carried for personal use, but it is not allowed beyond the PET track start point. Drinking water and ORS will be available, and candidates may carry water in a transparent bottle.
Carry and check
Read the admit card alongside the notice before travelling, keep the required documents ready, and avoid valuables. The schedule is a physical-test stage, not a final selection list.
