If you are finishing an MSc in Jammu and want a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), an Assistant Professor eligibility or a PhD seat, the joint CSIR-UGC NET for December 2026 is the exam to sort out this week. What to check before you pay
- Read the NTA Information Bulletin on csirnet.nta.nic.in for eligibility, course codes and the fee for your category. Education sites quote different fee tables, so rely on the bulletin, not on a coaching blog.
- Keep your photograph, signature and ID scans ready before you open the form.
- Pay online (debit or credit card, net banking or UPI) and save the confirmation page.
- Use the correction window only for fixes; do not plan to finish the form there.
The helpline numbers listed for the exam are 011-40759000 and 011-69227700. For students at the University of Jammu, Central University of Jammu, SMVDU and IIT Jammu, a qualifying score opens research fellowships and teaching eligibility, which is why the two days left matter.
