If your name is on SKUAST-Jammu's fourth-round undergraduate selection list, the next deadline is no longer a counselling slot: it is physical reporting. The university has given selected candidates 25 and 27 August, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, to report at Baba Jitto Auditorium, Chatha. A separate final mop-up round for remaining undergraduate and postgraduate seats follows on Monday, 31 August.

What's new
SKUAST-Jammu has now published the fourth-round selection list and the reporting instructions. Selected candidates must appear in person at Baba Jitto Auditorium on either 25 or 27 August between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. The notice asks them to carry all original certificates and documents, two sets of self-attested photocopies, three recent passport photographs with a blue or red background, and the filled admission form with the other documents listed by the university. After verification, candidates must complete registration with the relevant dean or the Institute of Biotechnology. Anyone who does not report within the stated window loses the seat.
The university has also announced a final mop-up round on 31 August at the same venue. Postgraduate candidates across general ranks must report by 9:30 am; their counselling runs from 10:00 am to 11:00 am sharp. Undergraduate candidates with general ranks 1 to 3817 must report by 11:00 am, with counselling beginning at 11:30 am.
Your August 31 checklist
UG candidates: carry original documents and self-attested copies, the option form, document checklist and CET admit card.
PG candidates: bring the same set, plus the graduation transcript or provisional degree certificate.
Previous no-shows: a candidate or authorised representative who was called earlier but did not appear must pay a non-refundable ₹1,500 fee. Such candidates will be considered only for seats available when their turn comes.
Payment: anyone selected in the mop-up must pay the full admission fee the same day through UPI or net banking, or at the J&K Bank counter at the venue.
The university says more candidates have been invited than the number of seats, so an invitation does not guarantee admission. There will be no programme upgrade during the mop-up round. Vacancies created through cancellations will be filled in the same round, and candidates considering a self-finance seat should also carry the required undertaking. SKUAST-Jammu additionally cautions that prepaid mobile numbers issued outside J&K and Ladakh may not work at the venue.
