The story so far
JKSSB has been working through its written-exam calendar for 2026, which we covered when it was released. Two health-sector posts have now been given fresh dates. See our earlier piece on the written exam calendar.
What's new
- Junior Theatre Technician: e-admit card from 25 October 2026; OMR-based written test on 29 October.
- Health Educator: e-admit card from 27 October 2026; OMR-based written test on 1 November.
Exam-news sites report that the board's notice is dated 21 October and that earlier September dates for these papers were superseded. Candidates who cannot download a card are advised to approach the board two days before the exam with proof of application and fee payment, and to reach the centre at least two hours early for biometric or facial authentication.
What to do this weekend
Log in on jkssb.nic.in with the registered email and date of birth, download and print the card, and check the centre address before the day. Vacancy counts and centres were not stated in the reports we could read.
Note: we could not open the board's own site from our systems, so these dates come from secondary reports of the notice. Check jkssb.nic.in before travelling. Sources: KollegeApply; Kashmir Life on earlier rescheduling.
