Cluster University of Jammu's admission portal now marks Round 3 registration open through 24 August for four programme groups: postgraduate courses, M.Ed, the three-year B.Ed-M.Ed programme and five-year integrated UG-PG programmes.
That is a material change for students still without a seat. The live portal also shows Round 2 seat allotments as published, so existing applicants should not wait for another notice before checking their dashboards.
The story so far
Our earlier Cluster University update covered Round 2 and reported that the five-year integrated track had closed. The university's current admission portal now moves that track into Round 3 alongside the PG, M.Ed and B.Ed-M.Ed categories.
This is why the new listing is an Update rather than a second version of the same admissions story: the round number has changed, a previously closed route is open again, and the portal now gives students a fresh deadline.
What's new in Round 3
Postgraduate programmes: 31 programmes listed
Five-year integrated UG-PG: 8 programmes listed
M.Ed: 1 programme listed
Three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed: 1 programme listed
For all four groups, registration and fee payment are shown as running through Monday, 24 August 2026. The registration fee displayed by the portal is ₹250. Round 2 final rank lists and seat allotments are also marked published.
The four-year ITEP, seventh-semester inter-university entry and Design Your Degree categories remain shown as closed. Round 3 is therefore not a reopening of every admission route on the site. Students should choose the programme card that matches their qualification and should not assume that one deadline applies across unrelated categories.
What applicants should do now
New applicants can use the relevant programme card on the admission portal to view details and register. Anyone who already applied in an earlier round should use the existing application number to log in rather than create a fresh registration. Check the dashboard immediately for any allotment and its course-fee deadline; the Round 3 registration closing date does not automatically extend an individual allotment payment deadline.
Before paying, verify the selected programme, admission category and any self-financing option shown in the form. Keep the application number and payment reference together. If the fee leaves your bank account but the portal does not update, use the contact details on the official portal rather than starting a duplicate application.
Because the portal is live and admission status can change, save the completed form and payment acknowledgement, then return to the dashboard to confirm the application status. Do this well before Monday's cutoff so there is time to resolve a portal or bank issue.
