“This relaxation shall be treated as a one-time relaxation and shall not be considered a precedent.”
That sentence, from a Cluster University of Jammu notification, is the reason this week matters to two different sets of students.
The story so far
Earlier this month we reported that CLUJ's PG spot round had been extended to 11 September and its venue moved. That round has now been rescheduled again, and a separate readmission window has opened alongside it.
What's changed
1. The spot round walk-in now runs 16 to 18 September. Notification No. CLUJ/Acd./2026/2061-67, dated 15 September 2026, states that the Spot Round Walk-In Admissions for PG and Five-Year Integrated Master's Programmes (FYIMP) will be held from 16.09.2026 to 18.09.2026 at the Library Block, Cluster University of Jammu. It is a date revision to the earlier notification of 4 September, and the university has confirmed that all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
There is no online form for this. A spot round is a walk-in: you turn up, you are verified against the vacant-seat position on the day, and you pay.
2. Semester-III FYUGP readmission closes 17 September. A separate notification, No. CLUJ/Acd./2026/2044-50 dated 11 September, grants in-house Semester-III FYUGP students who missed the admission or readmission window a chance to complete it by or before Thursday 17 September, subject to eligibility and payment of the requisite fee. It applies across the constituent colleges, and the university has stated in writing that it will not be repeated.
Which one applies to you
Looking for a PG or integrated Master's seat you don't yet hold — that's the spot round, 16 to 18 September, Library Block.
Already a CLUJ undergraduate entering Semester III who never completed readmission — that's tomorrow, 17 September, through your college.
Before you go
Two honest gaps. The programme-wise vacant-seat table and the fee schedule sit in the parent notification of 4 September rather than in this week's revision, and the readmission notice does not state a fee amount. Check the current notifications list on the university's own site before travelling, and carry your marksheets, identity proof and category certificate where applicable. Queries go to the Office of the Dean Academic Affairs.
Also worth knowing: CLUJ published eight examination result notifications between 11 and 15 September, covering UG Semester 2 NEP, UG Semester 8 Honours and Honours-with-Research, and PG Semesters 3 and 4. If your readmission or spot-round eligibility was waiting on a result, it may now be out.
