What's new
Reserved Festival Special Express 04083/04084 runs New Delhi - Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra - New Delhi, two trips each way.
- 04083: leaves New Delhi 14:00 on Fridays 9 and 16 October, reaches Katra 03:00 the next morning.
- 04084: leaves Katra 10:00 on Saturdays 10 and 17 October, reaches New Delhi 23:30 the same day.
The train is 22 LHB coaches over 655 km. Halts are Sonipat, Panipat, Kurukshetra, Ambala Cantt, Dhandari Kalan, Jalandhar Cantt, Pathankot Cantt, Kathua, Jammu Tawi and Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan station. The separate 04081/04082 special continues until 26 October.
What to do
Book through the IRCTC website or railway counters. Jammu's Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Uchit Singhal said festive demand for Vaishno Devi has risen sharply. Fares were not stated in the reports.
