The story so far

J&K's next domestic-cricket assignment is the Irani Cup against Rest of India in Srinagar. The BCCI's season announcement confirms an Irani Cup start on 1 October. Our earlier fixture report covered the match; this update concerns the preparatory camp.

The 18-player camp

Greater Kashmir's 24 September report, citing a JKCA communication, says the camp was due to begin that day at Sher-i-Kashmir Cricket Stadium. The report lists Shubham Khajuria, Yawer Hassan, Qamran Iqbal, Abdul Samad, Paras Dogra, Kawalpreet Singh, Shubham Pundir, Kanhaiya Wadhawan, Abid Mushtaq, Rydham Sharma, Vanshaj Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Umran Malik, Sunil Kumar, Umar Nazir, Lone Nasir Muzaffar, Sahil Lotra and Waseem Bashir.

This is a preparatory squad, not an announced playing XI.

Following the fixture

The same report gives the match window as 1–5 October at the JKCA ground in Srinagar and lists JioHotstar and Star Sports for live coverage. Check the broadcaster's current programme listings before the match. Ticket availability and spectator-entry arrangements are not established by these sources.

Editorial correction, 27 September: unsupported player-career claims, speed superlatives and assertions about the scale of the fortnight have been removed. Broadcast information is attributed to the report rather than presented as an independently checked broadcaster notice.
