CUJ is interviewing for one Hostel Caretaker and one Guest House Caretaker on a purely temporary contract, at ₹35,000 a month (consolidated) each. Reporting time is 9:30 am at the 2nd Floor, Establishment Wing, Chanakya Bhawan, on the Rahya-Suchani (Bagla) campus in Samba.
- Essential: graduation, plus experience handling a hostel or guest house in a university or similar organisation. Ex-servicemen will be preferred.
- Fee: ₹500 by demand draft in favour of Registrar, CUJ, on the day. SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempt.

Wednesday, October 28 (tentative): CSIR-IIIM, Canal Road
The Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine in Jammu has advertised eight temporary project posts under a biodiversity-and-drug-discovery project (Advertisement No. 38/2026, dated October 15).
- Project Associate-I (6 posts): an MSc in a relevant science, or a BTech in a related branch for some posts; upper age 35; ₹31,000 plus HRA for those who qualify under the stated criteria, otherwise ₹25,000 plus HRA.
- Project Scientist-III (1): doctorate in Pharmacology or Biotechnology with at least 7 years of R&D experience; upper age 45; ₹78,000 plus HRA.
- Project Assistant-II (1): BSc with Physics, Chemistry and Biology; upper age 35; ₹20,000 plus HRA.
Bring the filled Annexure-I. The posts end with the project, currently sanctioned up to March 31, 2027, and may be extended. Subject requirements differ post by post, so read the notification for yours. The interview date is marked tentative.
