The J&K Trade Promotion Organisation (JKTPO), under the Industries and Commerce Department, has been running export-awareness and e-commerce onboarding drives in September and October 2026 in Samba, Kathua, Budgam and Pulwama, according to Greater Kashmir.
What the sessions covered
- Export procedures and documentation, and international market opportunities
- Export finance and credit-risk cover, and regulatory requirements
- Government procurement and digital commerce
- The India–EU Free Trade Agreement
- Product quality, packaging, branding and market readiness
Resource partners included ECGC, EXIM Bank, FIEO and Mission YUVA. Participants were helped to onboard to ONDC, GeM and Flipkart.
Who it is for
MSMEs, entrepreneurs, artisans, weavers, farmers, self-help groups, farmer producer organisations, startups and aspiring exporters. For a young founder in Samba or Kathua with a product, it is a direct route to a marketplace listing. The report gives no dates for future drives and no registration contact, so check with JKTPO or your District Industries Centre.
