Four dates. One old admit card. JKSSB's weather-delayed Junior Assistant type-test batches at NIELIT Jammu resume on 24, 25, 27 and 31 August 2026.

The Board issued the rescheduling notices in July after inclement weather disrupted the original programme. The dates are still actionable now because each Jammu batch moves into the coming fortnight, and candidates have been told to use the admit card they already received.

Match the old date to the new one

  • If your NIELIT Jammu test was on 24 July, report on 24 August.

  • If it was on 27 July, report on 25 August.

  • If it was on 28 July, report on 27 August.

  • If it was on 29 July, report on 31 August.

Do not copy the Srinagar dates from the same notices. JKSSB set different revised dates for NIELIT Srinagar, while the four dates above apply specifically to the Jammu examination centre.

Your centre and reporting time do not change

JKSSB says the admit cards already issued remain valid for the rescheduled tests. Candidates must appear at the same examination centre and same reporting time printed on their card. The notice changes only the date.

NIELIT Jammu is on the New Campus of the University of Jammu, Dr B.R. Ambedkar Road. Check the centre printed on your own admit card before travelling; the official notices covered both Jammu and Srinagar and are easy to misread when forwarded as screenshots.

A three-check plan

  1. Find the original July date on your admit card and map it to the Jammu date above.

  2. Keep the existing admit card; the Board has not asked candidates to download a replacement for these batches.

  3. Reach the same centre at the same reporting time shown on the card. Do not use the start time from someone else's batch.

The two notices carry the same JKSSB examination reference, JKSSB-COEOEXAM/UT/01/2026-03(7827645). That identifying number is the safest way to confirm you are reading the correct rescheduling order.
