Aspirants for J&K Police posts have a fixed calendar to plan around. On August 2, Kashmir Life reported the Services Selection Board's schedule for Sub-Inspector and Constable exams. All run as OMR-based computer-based tests.
The calendar
- November 29: Sub-Inspector, Notification No. 02 of 2024.
- December 13: Constable (Executive), Notification No. 12 of 2025.
- December 20: Constable (Armed/IRP/SDRF), Notification No. 14 of 2025.
- December 23: Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication), Notification No. 11 of 2025.
- December 27: Constable (Telecommunication), Notification No. 15 of 2025.
- December 30: Constable (Photographer), Notification No. 15 of 2025.
Admit cards
The Board said admit cards will be issued seven days before each exam, so the first, for the Sub-Inspector paper, should appear around November 22 if the date holds.
The caveat
This schedule is from an August report. JKSSB has moved exam dates before; a search summary we saw says another recruitment exam was shifted from September 6 to October 25. We could not open the JKSSB portal from our side, so treat every date as provisional and confirm it on the Board's official notice.
How to use the weeks left
