If something goes wrong
JKBOSE has set up a grievance-cum-monitoring cell under the direct supervision of the Board Secretary. It is meant to register complaints and queries, ensure timely disposal and take corrective action. Numbers published: Jammu 0191-2585732, Kashmir 0194-3186762. What the board says
Chairman Ghulam Hassan Sheikh said about 40 teams will be deployed, vigilance cards have been prepared and Chief Education Officers can monitor centres. Confidential material has gone to police stations and special arrangements exist for Children With Special Needs. Students are asked to fill roll numbers and question-paper series correctly; staff verify these before collecting scripts. For Class 10, these are first board exams for many. The chairman also asked parents not to measure children's success by marks alone.
