Central University of Jammu has formally closed its postgraduate admission process for the 2026–27 academic session, but one final route remains for candidates who believe an admission-committee decision was wrong.
The university's 17 August notice allows an aggrieved candidate to submit an appeal in the prescribed format by 5:00 PM on Monday, 24 August 2026. The appeal must be filed in person at the Academics Branch in Chanakya Bhawan, Central University of Jammu, Rahya-Suchani (Bagla), Samba.
Each appeal must include a ₹500 demand draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Central University of Jammu, payable at Rahya-Suchani (Bagla).
This is an appeal against a decision already made in the PG admission process, not a reopening of applications or a new seat-registration round. Candidates should use the university's prescribed form and attach the material that supports their case. The notice does not promise admission merely because an appeal is lodged.
Before travelling, download the official closure notice from the university's PG admissions page and check that the demand draft and supporting papers are complete. The deadline is tied to physical submission at the Academics Branch.
