₹50,000 for 90 Seconds: The Aarogya Setu 2.0 Reel Contest Closes on September 9

The National Health Authority wants a 90-second vertical reel about digital health. One prize, ₹50,000, open to any Indian citizen — and the field is still small.

If you already shoot reels on your phone, this one costs you an afternoon and pays ₹50,000.

The National Health Authority, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, has opened a reel-making competition on MyGov around Aarogya Setu 2.0 — the rebuilt version of the app, now oriented around ABHA digital health records rather than contact tracing. It is open to all citizens, which includes every student in Jammu with a smartphone.

The dates

  • Opened: 27 August 2026
  • Closes: 9 September 2026, 11:59 PM IST

That is under two weeks. It is also the entire reason this is worth your time — a short window keeps the entry count down.

The rules, in full

  • The video must be in portrait mode.
  • It must be in MP4 format.
  • Maximum duration 90 seconds.
  • The work must be original.
  • It must not contain offensive, political or religious content.

Pick one of five themes

  1. Show how Aarogya Setu 2.0 simplifies your healthcare journey.
  2. Highlight one or more features of Aarogya Setu 2.0.
  3. Create a real-life or fictional story.
  4. Promote digital healthcare through a creative reel.
  5. Share your vision for a digitally connected healthcare ecosystem.

Theme three is the open door. "Real-life or fictional story" means you are not obliged to make an explainer — a short narrative about a grandparent's hospital file, or a student trying to find an old prescription before a medical entrance form, is entirely within the brief and will stand out against a field of feature demos.

How to submit

Entries go through the MyGov task page. You submit a link rather than the file itself — either pasted into a Word or PDF document, or as a public social media link. Make sure whatever you link is actually set to public before you submit it; a private or unlisted video is the most common way a good entry gets disqualified.

The prize

One award: Best Reel — ₹50,000. Single prize, no runners-up, which cuts both ways — but for ninety seconds of work against a thin national field, the arithmetic is still good.

Don't get caught out

Shoot vertical from the start rather than cropping a landscape clip. Export as MP4, not MOV. Keep it under ninety seconds including titles. And file a day early — MyGov deadlines are hard stops at 11:59 PM, and the portal does not get faster as one approaches.
